SUBJECT: Legal Holiday Schedule

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED

(a)	With the exception of Central Bond Court, which convenes every day of the year, the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, shall adjourn, and the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, shall be closed on the following legal holidays for the year 2013:

January 1	New Year’s Day	Tuesday
January 21	Martin Luther King, Jr. Day	Monday
February 12	Lincoln's Birthday	Tuesday
February 18	Washington's Birthday (Observed)	Monday
March 4	Casimir Pulaski Day (Observed)	Monday
May 27	Memorial Day	Monday
July 4	Independence Day	Thursday
September 2	Labor Day	Monday
October 14	Columbus Day (Observed)	Monday
November 11	Veterans' Day	Monday
November 28-29	Thanksgiving	Thursday, Friday
December 25	Christmas Day	Wednesday

(b)	All matters returnable on said legal holidays shall be continued to the next business day of the court.

(c)	The time for filing all motions and pleadings shall be extended to the next business day of the court.
