Judge Larry G. Axelrood is a Municipal Department judge who is assigned to the Second Municipal District.  He is additionally assigned to the Criminal Division.  He hears a variety of case types in different courtrooms on a rotating basis and follows the routine daily schedule in the courtroom to which he is assigned on a given day. The Office of the Presiding Judge establishes the routine daily courtroom schedules.

Judge Axelrood  also presides over two Specialty Courts, Veterans Court and Mental Health Court in the Second Municipal District.  These Specialty Courts are heard in Courtroom 207 on the 2^nd and 4^th Fridays of the month.  Mental Health Court cases are heard at 11:30 a.m.  Veterans Court cases are heard at 1:30 p.m.
