Parties (if attending), attorneys, and witnesses must be in court ready to proceed at the case’s scheduled time. If a case is not ready when called, it will be recalled as the court’s schedule permits, and may be held until the end of the last scheduled case for the day.
Non-emergency motions and petitions must be scheduled with the court coordinator, telephone (312) 433-4733, before filing with the Clerk of the Circuit Court. If contested, all written documentation to be admitted in evidence must be tendered to all parties before the hearing date.
For emergency filings the court coordinator must be given a courtesy copy of all emergency motions and petitions, upon filing, to ensure the case is added to the court call.
