Hon. William D. Maddux, Presiding Judge of the Law Division, announces:
Beginning Monday, February 23, 2004, the Chicago Daily
Law Bulletin, the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County
website, and the Clerk's Office Computer Docket will provide
a listing of those cases currently in the Black Line Pool for
trial assignment. These lists will be posted and updated on
a daily basis.
The listing of cases posted in the Law Bulletin will
reflect the first 300 cases below the Black Line. Beginning
March 22, 2004, the Law Bulletin, as well as the clerk's
office website and computer docket, will additionally list those
cases placed above the Black Line for immediate trial assignment.
The listing of cases posted on the clerk's office website can
be accessed at http://www.cookcountyclerkofcourt.org//
and will include all the cases in the pool, above and below
the Black Line.
A complete listing of cases in the Black Line Pool can also
be accessed on the Clerk's Office Computer Docket by utilizing
Law Division transaction LDBI . This transaction
will also allow the user to determine whether a specific case
is in the Black Line Pool, and if so, where in the pool the
case is sequenced simply by plugging in the case number.
Computer terminals are available for general use in room 801 of the Richard J. Daley Center.
Please remember, the Black Line Trial Call will begin Monday, March 22, 2004. At that point, all cases listed above the Black Line are expected to be ready for immediate trial.
