Cook County Circuit Court Facilities Will be Open Friday, But Defendants and Witnesses in Rolling Meadows Can Use Zoom

Press Release |

Due to predictions of significant snowfall on Friday, particularly in northwest suburban Cook County, all defendants and witnesses who have hearings in the Third Municipal District can use video conference (Zoom) to attend proceedings, rather than coming to the Rolling Meadows courthouse in person, said Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans and Third Municipal District Presiding Judge Jill Cerone-Marisie.

“Due to dangerous driving conditions caused by inclement weather, all defendants and witnesses may use Zoom,” Judge Cerone-Marisie said. Access to Zoom proceedings in the Third Municipal District can be found here.

If, for some reason, any defendants or witnesses are unable to access Zoom to appear in the Third Municipal District, the Clerk of the Circuit Court will notify them of their next court date.

All other Cook County courthouses will conduct business as usual on Friday.
