The following Rule is adopted as a General Administrative Rule of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois:
 
GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE RULE NO. 01-1
 
SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION COMMISSIONER
 
Pursuant to 10 ILCS 5/6-21, the Circuit Judges of the Circuit Court of Cook County, or a majority of them, hereby appoint Richard A. Cowen to the OFFICE OF ELECTION COMMISSIONER of the BOARD OF ELECTION COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO, Cook County, Illinois, to serve until November 30, 2003.
 
This rule is dated January 26th, 2001 and shall be spread upon the record of this Court and published.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE RULE NO. 01-2
 
SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF BOND OF STATE'S ATTORNEY OF COOK COUNTY
 
Pursuant to 55 ILCS 5/3-9001, which provides that the State's Attorney of Cook County shall execute a bond in the penal sum of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) to be approved by the Circuit Court of Cook County, the undersigned Judges of the Circuit Court of Cook County hereby approved the Public Official Bond of RICHARD A. DEVINE, duly elected STATE'S ATTORNEY OF COOK COUNTY on December 1, 2000, for the term of office commencing December 1, 2000, and ending on November 30, 2004, Bond Number 103422881, written by Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America, One Tower Square 3PB. Hartford, CT 06183, in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00).

Pursuant to the provisions of 10 ILCS 5/6-21, Theresa M. Petrone is appointed to OFFICE OF ELECTION COMMISSIONER OF THE BOARD OF ELECTION COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO, Cook County, Illinois, to serve until November 30, 2004, and until a successor is appointed.
