Matters brought under the Illinois election code including and are not limited to: reviews of electoral board decisions, election contests, and issues concerning the composition of electoral boards.

In Cook County, election cases are heard in the County Division.

Appointment as a Public Member of an Electoral Board

The Court is accepting Applications for Appointment as a Public Member of an Electoral Board. Pursuant to General Order No. 21, the Court will maintain a list of persons knowledgeable in election law willing to serve as a public member of an electoral board.
